Glazed Sweet Carrots

  • 4 large carrots peeled and sliced or jullienne style
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ΒΌ tsp cinnamon
  • 50 ml water


  • Boil the carrots in water, salt added.
  • After approximately 25 minutes when the carrots are tender, throw off excess water or boil faster to reduce water.
  • Add sugar and butter.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes or until carrots start caramelizing or getting a glazed appearance.
  • Add cinnamon.
